Abstract

Το βιβλίο περιγράφει με εύληπτο τρόπο τους αρχαίους ναούς, τη χρήση και λειτουργία τους, την τυπολογία, τη μορφολογία, καθώς και την κατασκευή τους. Συνοδεύεται από δεκαέξι καρτέλες με φωτογραφίες των πιο γνωστών ναών που σώζονται σε καλή κατάσταση σε όλη την Eλλάδα.

The book describes the ancient temples, their use and function, their typology, the form, the sculptural and painted decoration, as well as the process of their construction. The book is accompanied by 16 cards with photographs of the best known temples preserved in good condition throughout Greece.
